Political discourse in the Western World is broken. Our democracy is suffering. Social media rather than bringing people together is having the opposite effect. For the most part it is causing substantial division and polarisation. We are bombarded by Fake News and our trust levels in the big Social Media behemoths are dwindling. Equalspeech aims to provide a brand new framework for long form discussion and analysis of complex issues, so that users can see all sides of the debate within a respectful medium. We use machine learning techniques to assess the quality of the debate and assist users to come to their own conclusions.
